My daughter had 2 stagnant eyes. We tried using patches but get minimal results. She ended up have surgery on both eyes. They cut the muscles behind her eyes to realign them. She have perfect results, and be very lucky. Usually surgery have to be done several times to correct the problem totally.
Causes of Amblyopia
Both eyes must receive clear images during the critical spell. Anything that interferes with clear delirium in any eye during the critical period (birth to 6 years of age) can result contained by amblyopia (a reduction surrounded by vision not corrected by specs or elimination of an eye turn). The most adjectives causes of amblyopia are constant strabismus (constant turn of one eye), anisometropia (different vision/prescriptions surrounded by each eye), and/or blockage of an eye due to trauma, lid droop, etc. If one eye see clearly and the other sees a blur, the honourable eye and brain will inhibit (block, suppress, ignore) the eye with the blur. Thus, amblyopia is a neurologically helpful process. The inhibition process (suppression) can result in a beyond repair decrease surrounded by the vision surrounded by that eye that can not be corrected with goggles, lenses, or lasik surgery.
I;m not sure what causes it but my husband have it when he was younger. They put a patch over the respectable eye to make the weaker one stronger. It worked
I'm not sure what the produce is, but I had it as a kid, they did surgery, later I had to wear an eye patch and do "eye exercises"
what impose it is the excess amount of work on a certain eye and squinting alot cause o yea and excessive uv rays allow to have direct contact near eyes to fix lazy eye you enjoy to go to an optometrist and he/she will make a contribution you simple excersises you do every night and put surrounded by eye drops or you can focus more with that eye
