What cause cracks at the corners of the mouth?

What cause cracks at the corners of the mouth?
there are some vitamin deficiency that can do it - get a B-vitamin supplement and see if they clear up...
one can be due to vitamin B defieciency
aging and smoking..possibly genetics too.
Hi,
Cracks at the sides of the mouth usually indicate twist burn (which ironically mostly isn't caused by wind). Wind burn is an extremly dry mouth which is even worse when you lick your chops to moisten your lips.
Try some vitamin A protective emolument, vaseline, or a good lip balm. Apply it for as long as needed.
Also avoid ingestion vinegar and slat while you have cracks and dry chops as this will sting them alot!
Hope this helps :)
