try applying a moist hot tea bag. not herbal, only just a regular tea bag.. the acids within tea help dry the sores for faster retrieval.
Nothing really. Moisturize it. It will eventually go away.
truly, my mom uses this one meathod, but it's a bit painfull, you rip off the scap or outer hull,and transport a cutip and drench it in staple polish remover, (yes I said it!) and as you tell it does involve some cramp, but, if you repeat that for a couple of days, it'll go away alot quicker.
