I thought they were sun spots. Im reasonably dark skinned mexican and they're starting to spread even more. I be told that it was a sign of syphillisWhat are these white blotches on my arms and legs?
Ohhh, I know this one! (i mull over, are they like dry spots?)
I have the same point and I asked my Dr. and she said that it is Tinea versicolor. It is a fungus picked up usually in lofty school, especally contained by gym, especially around wrestlers. Treatment was to use selson blue (only this one cuz of the medication within it) and place on affected nouns 15 minuites before showering and afterwards just purify off. Do this for 2 weeks. But, it is a lifetime condition and treatment will needed just about 1 time a year. And the color will take a while to even out (a long while).
But check beside your dr. to be sure that it is this and nothing worse.
Ps. Mine didn't show up till I be around 21 so I don't know about the HS gym nouns
im not sure u might have skin cancer iwould see a doctor
i used to return with those.. its from drinking a lot of sweets.. someone told me that.. but you never know.. it could be sun cancer too.. not to alarm you.. but let a doctor check it out! basically to be sureee.
I have a friend who have white blotches on her skin and I am not sure what the name is but it is a skin condition where on earth you start to loose your pigment. I would have it checked.
I worked for "Family Practice" doctors for 20 yrs. Your problem may be cause by a number of things and should not be disregarded. It may be something as simple as a skin fungus, treatable with prescription anti-fungal creams, or something more serious. GET IT CHECKED by a reputable Dr to be undamaging.
